Behind the beans

This is our darkest roast! We end the roast when 2nd crack is complete, and within moments this coffee becomes oily and smells of charcoal-like richness. For those who are fans of a French Roast, this coffee is similar.

We believe there is room in the third wave space for a darker roast, and we want to make sure we have you covered for when your dark roast coffee cravings hit!

Grind Types Explained
Why Does Grind Type Matter?
Grind size affects the extraction rate of the coffee and therefore affects the flavor of the final brew. Because of the water flow rate and pressure variations between brew methods, different grind sizes suit different brew methods better. You'll want to pick the right one for optimum flavor.

Not only have I narrowed down which worldly origin my personal preferences lean, I've also found my favorite cup of dark roast with #black! Thanks to Vince for being passionate about coffee and talking with me about my coffee questions and curiosities!
